Women's Journey
Women’s Journey provides group support for young women of color at Creighton from women of color in the community. During the meetings, at least one woman of color from the community shares her story, wisdom and resources with the group. Additional women from the community also provide a source for networking, a shoulder to lean on and/or an older female friend/mentor to talk outside of the group. Students engage the women in candid discussions of life’s situations. Previous topics have included sexual assault, basic meditation techniques, attitudes, images of beauty, women of color in the medical professions to name just a few.
Look for emails from the women of color email address. Notices for each meeting/event are sent to all women of color registered for the year.
