Welcome Week
August 23rd - September 1st, 2008
Welcome Week is Creighton's official welcome to all new students during the fall semester. Each year Creighton physically moves in students living on campus, while providing programs for the entire new student class and their families. Our hope is that you will truly experience the spirit of Creighton in our students, faculty, staff, alums, and current parents.
Throughout the week, our programs will introduce new students to Creighton's wholistic approach to education - focusing on the mind, body, and spirit. Our programs are geared to help new students adjust to college life at Creighton and the Omaha community. Past programs have included Ratio Studiorium Meetings, Matriculation Ceremony/Dean's Welcomes, the President's Picnic, religious services, Call to Community, The Event, Lip Sync contest, Getting Blue BBQ, Jay Jam, and many more!

Overview
Welcome Week is a 10-day program that focuses on integrating new students into the Creighton Community. Students are given the opportunity to participate in events throughout the week that will allow them to meet other incoming students and upperclassmen, become familiar with campus before classes begin and interact with the greater Omaha community. Welcome Week officially kicks off Saturday, August 23, 2008 with Move-In and ends Monday, September 1, 2008 with our Coming Together Closing Ceremony. Other Welcome Week traditions include Community Service, the Lip-Sync Contest and the Creighton Difference.
