Housing Information

Welcome!

The Housing Assignments Office in the Department of Residence Life is ready to assist new students, transfer students, graduate/professional students, and current students with their housing needs.  At Creigthon, we strong recommend living on campus for many reasons including:

  • social connections with your peers
  • students living on campus perform better academically
  • living on campus helps students become more involved in leadership activities

Roommate assignments are based on class standing, age, and other information. If you prefer to name your own roommate, you may state that name on your preference card or in a letter to Attn: Housing Assignments Office, Department of Residence Life. There must be an agreement with both you and your requested roommate to this assignment. Your preferences will be considered if at all possible. Priority is given according to the date your housing application is received. Check out our resources about preparing to live on campus at Creighton, information on room dimensions & layouts, our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), and our off-campus housing resources.

For Incoming Freshman and Transfer Undergraduate Students

A Creighton housing packet is mailed to all students who apply through our Office of Admissions. In the packet you will receive, you will find how much of an advantage it is to live at Creighton as well as information on how to apply for housing. Preference is given to those new students who complete a full application with their housing deposit by May 1st!
