CU Pathology Dept
Creighton Medical Center dept of Pathology is looking for 2 to 3 people to share a FT position that is currently available, and is scheduled to end in October. The shared work hours are scheduled to cover between 8 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. The final schedule will be determined with the candidates and the hiring supervisor.
We need runners for errands that occur between the hospital and campus locations this summer and early fall. A primary duty would be to transport specimens between our lab in the hospital and those in the Criss Labs. Will run errands in adverse weather conditions. When these runners are not performing courier duties, they will be assigned support duties that will include clerical support, data entry, special projects, etc.
Salary Range: $8-$8.50 per hour. Vacations will require prior notice and are dependent upon available coverage. This position offers salary only, and does not include benefits.

Creighton Educational Talent Search
The Creighton Educational Talent Search dept is looking for tutor/mentors for the 2008-09 school year. Students must be available one or more afternoons every week from 3:00-6:00 p.m. They will be working with middle school and high school students from Omaha Public Schools who are in the federally funded Educational Talent Search. Tutors must have their own transportation to tutoring sites throughout the community (typically schools or community agency buildings). We need students who are responsible, organized, and sensitive to students in the program (students in the program are most often from low-income families whose parents do not have a college degree). The ability to serve as a positive mentor and promote going to college is a plus. Pay rates range from $6.55 - $8 per hr.
