Why did you get involved with CU Habitat?
I went with a friend to the first meeting of the year because she didn't want to go alone.
What is your favorite memory with CU Habitat? What is your proudest accomplishment on the build site?
I think meeting the build managers at the house site is always inspiring because they know so much about each aspect of the building process. The best thing I have done with CU Habitat was hanging dry wall and siding a house. The future owner of the house came out to the site to help us at that build as well.
Do you have any advice for other CU Habitat members or people building with us for the first time?
Just try it. You'll never know what you like if you don't try it first.
Would you recommend volunteering with CU Habitat?
Of course! I think this organization is a great way to get involved on campus and to make a difference in people's lives.
