National Endowment for the Humanities Summer Program Applications
Purpose: Each summer the National Endowment for the Humanities supports faculty development through residential projects: 2-6 week Seminars and Institutes and 1-week Landmarks of American History and Culture Workshops. These projects are designed to provide American teachers with the opportunity for intensive study of important texts and topics in the humanities. There are two programs to apply to:

Human Frontier Science Program
Purpose: Research Grants provided by the Human Frontier Science Program (HFSP) support basic research in the life sciences with emphasis placed on novel, innovative, and interdisciplinary approaches that involve scientific exchanges across national and disciplinary boundaries. Grants are available for projects concerned with basic approaches to understanding the complex mechanisms of living organisms. Topics covered range from molecular and cellular approaches to biological functions to systems neuroscience including cognitive functions.

The Library Company of Philadelphia’s Program in Early American Economy and Society Fellowship
Purpose: Funding for one dissertation-level fellowship (that may also be divided between two scholars) and four one-month fellowships, to promote scholarship in early American economy and society.

CDC Feasibility of Acute Concussion Management in the Emergency Department
Purpose: Evaluate the feasibility of implementing the Acute Concussion Evaluation within an emergency department setting.
