Caps and Gowns for Students
Prospective graduates ordered their caps and gowns through Willsie Cap & Gown. If you are unsure whether or not you ordered your cap and gown, contact the Registrar’s Office at (402) 280-2702.
Graduates are responsible for picking up their caps and gowns and bringing them to the Kiewit Fitness Center for the commencement ceremony. Pick up your cap and gown the day before commencement, Friday, December 19 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. in the Mike and Josie Harper Center for Student Life and Learning, rooms 2060 & 2066. The guests who are already in the Kiewit Fitness Center have priority on seating.
How long will the ceremony last?
The ceremony, which is for all schools and colleges, will begin at 11 a.m. and is expected to end between 12:15 and 12:30 p.m.
Where do the graduates sit?
The graduates sit in the center section of seats.
Where do families and friends sit?
Family members and friends may sit anywhere, except the areas reserved for graduates and special guests.
