Conferences

Each year the NSNA hosts two conferences, a Midyear and Annual Conference. CUSNA encourages its members to attend these conferences as they provide many opportunities to explore nursing and professional development. Some of these benefits include:

  • Networking
  • NCLEX Review
  • Specialty Exploration
  • Study Tips
  • School and Hospital Exhibits
  • Fun, Fun, Fun

Midyear Conference

The MidYear Conference, NSNA’s Career Planning Conference, is held every November, and explores specialty nursing areas and career issues for nursing students.

Patrick Hickey, DrPH, MSN, RN, CNOR, will be the Keynote Speaker at the National Student Nurses’ Association (NSNA) MidYear Conference in Reno, NV, November 13-16-2008. Dr. Hickey became the first registered nurse to have climbed all Seven Summits when he reached the top of Mt. Everest on May 24, 2007. Known as a humorous and engaging speaker, Dr. Hickey’s keynote speech, "Conquering Your Own Everest: Do You Have What It Takes?" promises to deliver a rousing kick-off to NSNA’s MidYear Conference.
