Fundraising
Began in 1983, the Spring Break Service Trips program will celebrate its 27th year in 2009. We plan to send over 200 students to serve and learn with 25 host partner communities across the country. Here are some ways students raise funds and why they work so hard at it:
Soup Luncheon: Friday, February 20, 2009, 11 am - 1:30 pm, Lower St. John's
Raffle: There will be 2 raffles. A March Raffle and an April Raffle
Sponsor-A-Spring-Breaker: An opportunity to support the SBST scholarship program.
The Spring Break Service Trips program is student-funded and student-led. The actual expenses are more than $260 per person per trip. Students raise money for expenses as well as to give donations to our wonderful host partners. We want to give a BIG "Thank you!" to all our donors and supporters. For many students, this powerful experience simply would not happen without your support, and we do appreciate it!
