Helping a young, mentally impaired adult
I am working with a really delightful young woman who is 22 and out of school. She is mildly developmentally delayed. She would like to work at improving her reading skills and would really like to work with someone one to one. She lives near 52nd and Pratt and does not have transportation, so would need to meet the volunteer somewhere within walking distance from her house. I understand that there is a library near her and that might be a possibility. If you would like to enrich the life of this young lady, please call me at 595-1249.
