Dunlay Named Assistant Dean for Clinical Affairs
Robert "Bo" Dunlay, M.D. has been named the Assistant Dean for Clinical Affairs at Creighton University effective November 1, 2006. In this capacity he will work with Dr. Lanspa to facilitate the growth of the clinical mission of the School of Medicine.
Dr. Dunlay earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Creighton University and his M.D. from Creighton University School of Medicine. His Internship and Residency were both at Creighton University Department of Medicine. Dr. Dunlay completed a Fellowship in Nephrology at Oklahoma University Health Sciences in Oklahoma City, OK, and a second Fellowship in Nephrology Research at Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis, MO.
Dr. Dunlay came to Creighton University School of Medicine in 1992 as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Renal Division of the Department of Medicine. In 1996, Dr. Dunlay received a secondary appointment in the Department of Pharmacology. Dr. Dunlay was promoted to Associate Professor in 2001. Over the years, Dr. Dunlay has served in several capacities - Residency Program Director, Nephrology Division Chief, Medical Director DCI, Associate Chair for Education, and M4 Selective Coordinator.
