The Biomedical Sciences Department in the Creighton University School of Medicine is rich with innovative scientific research. Each faculty member has many years of teaching and research experience, as well as prolific funding through such venues as the National Institute of Health (NIH), State of Nebraska Health and Human Services, and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
Students: Applications for the Graduate Program (master's, doctoral, and anatomy) are accepted year-round. Potential students are encouraged to locate a faculty member with similar research interests and contact them directly. Then the student is encouraged to formally apply through the Graduate School for entrance into the program.
Scientific research is the backbone of the Biomedical Sciences Department. Some of the research projects currently being pursued include allergy and asthma, hearing loss, the effects of ciragette smoking, and heart defects.
Please, browse through the links on the left and enjoy your stay here in the Biomedical Sciences Department at Creighton University. Our faculty and administrative staff support the vision of Creighton and adhere to a higher quality of learning for all our students.
