AMA Opportunity
Seed Grant Research Program provides grants of $2,500 to medical students in five research areas: cardiovascular/pulmonary diseases, HIV/AIDS, leukemia, neopastic diseases and secondhand smoke. Application deadline is December 12, 2008.
Cedar-Sinai Neuroscience Opportunity
Applications are now being taken for the 2009 Pauletta and Denzel Washington Family Guild Scholars in Neuroscience Award. The recipient of this award will conduct research for a three-month period of time at Cedar-Sinai in a laboratory directed by Dr. Keith L. Black. Included with this award is a $2,500 monthly stipend. The deadline for receipt of applications is Janaury 9, 2009.
