Education Management Structure. Policies are deliberatively determined by the Educational Policy Committee (EPC), the Component Committees and the Course or Clerkship Committees. Execution of policy and administrative supervision of the curriculum is carried out by the Associate and Assistant Deans for Medical Education, the component directors, and the course/clerkship directors. The effectiveness of the program is evaluated independently by the Evaluation Committee, which reports its findings to the Educational Policy Committee and the Dean for action and implementation.
Medical Education Management Team (MEMT), composed of the Associate and Assistant Deans of Medical education, the component directors, along with the Director of the Center for Medical Education and the Associate Dean for Student Affairs. This Team facilitates management decision making and help frame the agenda for the committee meetings.
