Creighton FIRST Grand Prize Winners were selected from employees who attended a Lunch-N-Learn session, scheduled an appointment, or referred someone to a Creighton provider regarding the Spotlight health topic.
- By participating in the the Spotlight On Cardiac Health, Carol Pflepsen Bowery, Specialist, Student Accounts Department, CU, and Pat Lyons, Coordinator, Office of Experiential Education, School of Pharmacy & Health Professions, CU, who both won a 1-year Partners In Cardiology (PIC) Membership to the Creighton's Cardiac Center (including nutrition guidance, access to the exercise facility, and more) valued at $300!
- Congratulations to Bonnie Niemeier, Administrative Assistant, Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, CU, who is the Spotlight On Weight: Less Is More Prize Drawing Winner for a one-year family membership to the Kiewit Fitness Center, valued at approximately $380.
- By taking part in the Spotlight on Tobacco Cessation, Nancy L. Smith, Sr. Finance Manager, Creighton Medical Laboratories, won a Kansas City Weekend Getaway Package valued at $750; and
- Marcia Shadle Cusic, Chaplain, CU School of Medicine, won new Rose Pillow Top queen-sized mattress set, valued at $750, from the Berkshire Collection (Warren’s Buffet’s line), donated by Omaha Bedding Company and Nebraska Furniture Mart, by participating in the Spotlight on Sleep.
