Prize Drawing Winners
The Creighton FIRST program gives employees opportunities to participate in a variety of wellness activities, lunch-n-learn sessions, brief surveys, health screenings, and prize drawings. The tools and information are designed to be fun, interesting and beneficial.
Creighton FIRST also coordinates monthly Spotlight On… programs to provide information about the high level of medical expertise and unique services that are available to you through Creighton’s healthcare resources.
Each Spotlight program offers employees a chance at several Creighton FIRST Prize Drawings!!!
- one opportunity through participation in an informational survey.
- several opportunities through attendance at a Lunch-N-Learn session, and/or a visit with, or referral(s) to, a Creighton provider regarding the Spotlight health topic.
In honor of Osteoporosis Awareness Month, approximately 250 employees participated in the Creighton FIRST Spotlight On Osteoporosis! - By participating in the survey, Patty Wilderman R.N., B.S.N., C.P.N. Pediatric Infectious Disease Out-Patient Coordinator and Research Study Coordinator, and Marge Cox, System Analyst, Cardiology, The Cardiac Center, won the National Osteoporosis Foundation's Pearls of Strength™ bracelet, valued at $25.
- Also from survey participation, Theresa Winship, Sr. Administrative Assistant, General Internal Medicine, and Darlene Golden, Sr. Administrative Assistant, CU Office of Technology Transfer, won the Be BoneWise™ Exercise DVD - the National Osteoporosis Foundation's Official Exercise Video, valued at about $20.

- Colleen Kelly-Firmature, Copy Center Manager, School of Law, won the Prize Drawing for FIVE 1-hour massage sessions at Body Haven, with a retail value of approximately $250 by attending a Lunch-N-Learn Session, making an appointment, or referring someone to one of Creighton Women's Health Center Programs. - Congratulations to Stephanie Blum, Production Coordinator, Creative Services, CU, and Karen Hardy, RN, BSN, Clinical Coordinator, CVD Prevention and Rehabilitation, Cardiac Center, who both won $50 gift certificates to Garbo's by participating in the informational survey!
