Volunteer Opportunities

There are many opportunities for you to volunteer. Our volunteers have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment that emphasizes the development of your interests and skills, and utilizes your talents. The Center for Women believes your volunteer experience should be valuable and rewarding and provide us with needed skills.

Our volunteer schedules are very flexible and you may devote as many or as few hours as you wish. You are welcome to commit anywhere from two hours per week to four hours per semester. If you are interested, contact us at centerforwomen@creighton.edu. We would be more than happy to discuss volunteer opportunities with you.

Student Groups

The Eileen B. Lieben Center for Women collaborates with many different student groups and organizations on campus. You can share your skills, talents, and time by getting involved in one of these organizations. Contact the club or organization leadership or the Lieben Center for more information.

Peer Education At Creighton (PEAC)
http://www2.creighton.edu/cssr/peereducation/
PEAC is a dedicated group of students who support the academic mission of the University by promoting wellness and “peak performance” through healthy lifestyle choices. Peer Educators work on various teams (Alcohol & Drug Awareness Team, Body Image Awareness Team, Mental Health Awareness Team, Relationship Awareness Team, and Sexual Assault Awareness Team) to help educate and spread awareness about health and wellness issues central to Creighton students’ college experience.

Women's Empowerment Base (WEB)
WEB is dedicated to supporting women through activism, consciousness-raising, and education within the Creighton community. WEB provides an atmosphere for women to thrive through a commitment to their intellectual, social, and physical development. WEB further recognizes that it lives in an interdependent world with conflicts and overlapping interests, and thus works to eliminate the multiple levels of oppression that exist in both our immediate and global communities. WEB celebrates the interconnectedness of women and men, and strives to promote a future of mutually assured empowerment for all genders

Women's Law Student Association (WLSA)
