MET Program
MET Plan
Creighton University offers the Monthly Electronic Transfer (MET) Plan to families of full-time students. The MET Plan allows families to pay tuition in 10 equal monthly installments, thus reducing the impact of paying a full semester’s tuition in one lump sum. Payments begin in June and are automatically deducted on the tenth day of the month. There is an application fee, but no interest is charged. Please print the MET brochure below for a full explanation of how the MET program works. The Business Office automatically sends MET applications to all returning and newly admitted students in the spring. Please note: If you choose not to include health insurance, parking permit, or yearbook fees in your MET plan budget, that does not constitute waiver of these fees. You are still required to fill out the on-line waivers at the student self service NEST web site to have each of these fees waived by the required deadlines. You may begin waiving health insurance fees beginning June 20, 2008. Contact Student Health for the deadline. Parking permit and yearbook waivers will begin mid-July and you will have until the deadline of September 3rd, 2008. Information about waiving these fees will also be included on your fall semester billing statement that will be available for viewing on your student NEST in late July.
Reminder:
Creighton will no longer mail out paper billing statements. All tuition billing statements will be available on-line only through the NEST self service web site. Email notification will be sent to all students and their authorized users when new billing statements become available to view on-line.
