The Web (aka the World Wide Web) is integral in much of what we do with technology today. DoIT supports the use of the web throughout its offerings, but specifically in these areas.
All use of Creighton's technology resources, including web space provided by the University, is subject to the policies of Creighton University. Read the Fair Responsible and Acceptable Use Policy and other policies here.

DoIT's University Web Team is in charge of Creighton's web presence, and provides services to the Creighton Community for web-based publishing. Among the services available to customers are:
Web Standards
Creighton's University Web Team has prepared policies regarding the coding, design and use of web pages at the University. Please be aware that your pages should adhere to these policies and standards.

- Web Naming for other than creighton.edu domains is being formulated at this time in a joint effort of DoIT, MPR and Legal. Contact Office of the Webmaster for further information.

Web Marketing
DoIT's University Web Team is works with Public Relations to provide web marketing for University business units and any University events. Among the services available to customers are:
- Web Analytics
- Web banner ads
- 2 to 4 dynamic banner ads run on the main Creighton web page, the primary landing pages and selected department websites.
- To request a banner ad, please send the following required information to webteam@creighton.edu at least 5 working days prior to the desired start date.
- Start date of banner campaign
- End date of banner campaign
- Graphic banner
- 140px X 50px, JPG, PNG or GIF format only
- You may send your own banner
- You may contract with Creative Services for banner creation
- The web team can create one (allow 5 additional working days lead time)
- Desired "weight" of display. Default display weight is 25%. You may request 100% for up to 5 days, but it is not guaranteed. Only 1 banner across the system runs 100%. Public Relations moderates conflicts between campaign weights.
- The URL (web address) of the event webpage
- All campaigns and banners are subject to review by Public Relations.
