Breakfast Bytes are short technology presentations covering the technology you have in your office, on your computer, or in your classroom. You can enjoy a cup of coffee, donut or muffin, and a breakfast byte of technology. This is an easy, no cost way to increase your understanding of technology.

DoIT is moving forward to get Office 2007 out to parts of campus, so if you think that having the new Office 2007 is what is right for you and your department, come to this session and learn what you need to know before the decision is officially made. Mike Allington, Director of Support Services, will present all the information you need to know before you make this important decision. Office 2007 is the newest version, but it is also the version that has the biggest and most significant changes to it. Come see an informative demo and get your questions answered. The new Wareham Building has it and it is one of the smartest pieces of technology to hit the Creighton campus. It is the new IP Telephone. You will be hearing about this newest technology more and more as it gets integrated into the campus. Come learn from some of our DoIT staff members as to what this new technology is, and how effectively it is working for the users in the Wareham Building. Creighton is very lucky to have an expert in photography in our midst. Father Doll and his photography are known beyond our campus to other reaches of the U.S. In a continuation of his Spring 2007 presentation, Father Doll will be presenting more of his breathtaking photography while also answering your questions about cameras, lighting, and other tips to help you become successful while photographing your own special moments, vacations, and every day life. Come learn from an expert that we are so fortunate to have at Creighton. Want to be able to go to ONE place and see everything that is happening on campus on that particular day? Many people do and the campus employees are finally getting their wish! Three of DoIT's staff members, Damien Holzapfel, Stuart Zimmerman, and Tadd Martin have joined forces and developed a University calendar system. The roll out for the new calendar could arrive on campus as early as summer 2008, so come to this informative session and learn from Damien, Tadd, and Stuart what they have created and how it will make Creighton even better than it already is. All the information you need in one place - who could ask for more!
