E-Fellows Announced: Fall 2008
New eFellows Announced
The Academic Development and Technology Center is pleased to announce the appointment of the 2008-2009 eFellows for the upcoming academic year. They are: Dr. Michael Monaghan - Pharmacy Practice; Dr. Nancy Stone - Psychology Department; Dr. Marty Birkholt - Communication Studies; Dr. Joseph McClanahan - Modern Languages and Literatures; Dr. Martha Habash - Classics and Near Eastern Studies; Dr. Olaf Bohlke - Modern Languages and Literatures; Dr. Richard Super - History Department; Dr. Michele Faulkner - Pharmacy Practice; Maria Mena-Bohlke - Modern Languages and Literatures; and Dr. Brent Spencer - English Department - Senior eFellow 08-09. The Academic Development and Technology Center at Creighton University is an endowed center that has as its goal the improvement of instructional quality at the University through the technological enhancement of faculty teaching skills. CUAlert
The ability to communicate in an emergency or crisis situation is important for any college or university campus. To assist us in our communication efforts, Creighton University has an emergency and information broadcast system, CUAlert. You can register to receive emergency communications by registering for phone, email or text messaging.
CUAlert will send out a brief message that will inform our campus community about an emergency or crisis situation. We encourage all members of the campus community to subscribe to this service.

Gamefest 2007
Gamefest 2007 was another success! The annual Creighton University all night Gamefest was from 6 p.m., November 3, to 6 a.m. November 4, in the Skutt Student Center Ballroom. Admission was free for Creighton students and $10 at the door for all non-Creighton student guests.
Each year,Gamefest attracts more and more student participants. There is always something for everyone including prizes, free food and soda for event attendees. If you missed on the 2007 edition, watch for the 2008 version so you don't miss out on all the fun! Learn More...

Creighton Student Computer Purchasing Program
Creighton University has partnered with GovConnection (IBM/Lenovo) and Gateway to offer students University approved Notebook and Tablet PC Bundles.
Creighton University strongly urges all incoming students to purchase a notebook through our Student Computer Purchasing Program. This will ensure the highest level of service and support Creighton can provide as well as special educational software. All Notebooks include Microsoft Office Professional, Microsoft Windows Professional, Creighton University carrying case with logo, 1GB USB drive, security lock, Ethernet cable 4-year no hassle on campus warranty and support. Creighton University will determine in June, 2007 if Windows Vista will be supported by the University for Fall 2007.

DoIT is proud to support PrintIT, a printing service available to students. PrintIT is a centralized printing system that allows you to print from your personal computer or lab computer to any PrintIT station on campus. PrintIT stations are located all around campus including in most Residence Halls, Reinert Library Commons, Hixson-Lied Commons and Skutt Student Center.
