BlueLine

BlueLine: Creighton's New Learning Management System

BlueLine will be released to the campus this fall through a "beta" release. This means that work is still being conducted on the application and changes, both visual and otherwise will be occurring during the semester, so don't be surprised if you notice changes while you are logged into the system. This work will be conducted throughout the fall semester.

The final release of BlueLine will be in Spring 2008. All courses will be available in all colleges and programs throughout the university.

The Selection Process

In the Spring of 2007 Creighton University began a search for a new Learning Management System (LMS) for the Creighton community. This process was conducted by a search committee headed by Colette Hanson Assistant V.P. of Information Technology along with representatives from across campus including Student Services and the university libraries. Once the search was narrowed down to two different applications, university faculty members were given the opportunity to try out the different systems and provide the committee feedback on both systems.

Finally, at the end of the Spring semester April 13, 2007, the final selection committee determined that Angel Learning would be the new LMS for the Creighton community.
