Antivirus Software
Free anti-virus software by Symantec is available to all Creighton students, faculty, and staff for their home pc’s. A broadband connection is recommended for the download. If one is not available the home version of Symantec can be found on the CU@Home CD available from any campus library. Your work pc should already be configured and set up for automatic maintenance.
Virus definitions out of date?
My virus definitions are out of date, and it told me to contact the Service Desk.
This message indicates that your definitions are 30 days old or older. To download the new definitions, open up Symantec by double-clicking on the yellow shield in the lower left hand corner of your taskbar. Then click on the button that says "Live Update".
