Directory Information

If you have a BLUE account (i.e. a NetID), then you also have directory information accessible through the Account Management Interface (AMI). In fact, everyone does.

How do I access the directory?

The University directory is accessible online via the Account Management Interface (AMI). By default, basic information is available to all visitors. Some other information, such as NetIDs and photographs, are only accessible to Creighton community members. To see this info, you will have to log in to AMI to perform a directory search.

How do I change my contact information?

If some of the information in your directory listing is incorrect, you can change it simply by logging in to AMI and choosing "Modify Contact Information" from the links.

You will be able to change your telephone number(s) and other personal information. You will also be able to toggle your photo display preferences, and (if you are a student) even whether directory information shows up at all!

How do I change my name?

Some information, like your name, or your permanent address, cannot be changed in AMI, as it is institutional information that needs to be verified by Human Resources (it gets used for salary, taxes, etc.).

Faculty/Staff - To change your name, either your preferred first name or your legal name, please send email to nnygren@creighton.edu or tparsley@creighton.edu to facilitate your request.

Students - To update your preferred first name or change your legal name, call 280-4024 or stop by the Registrar's Office.

Tips for searching: wildcards

If you are searching for a person and cannot find them, add a wildcard asterisk (*) to your search criteria.

For example, if you are looking for Wisteria Larsen, but don't know how to spell her last name (it could be Larson), you could search for:

Last Name

Or if you are searching for a phone number, and are entering just the four-digit extension, you will have to use the wildcard, like so:

Telephone Number

Also, suffixes, like "Jr." or "III" are part of the surname, and you should include them or use the wildcard. For example, if you are looking for Wayne Young Jr., you would search like thus:

Last Name

Tips for searching: Find a NetID

If you are looking for a NetID, you must log into the AMI system and then perform a directory search. The NetID is found in the blue title bar for that person. For security reasons, NetID is not displayed on the public search page.

Log into AMI here.
