A Message from the CIO
Brian Young, Vice-President and CIO of Creighton University, leads DoIT in its mission of serving the Creighton community with the finest service and technology standards. Here is his message regarding DoIT's goals.
"DoIT’s areas of special focus this academic year are: Innovation, World Class Client Services, and Protecting Our Campus.
Innovation is something we in DoIT, can all take pride in. We should be innovative in our solutions across all environments. We are an innovative team that supports the energy and momentum created by Father Schlegel's vision.
World Class Client Services. Service is something we continue to foster and grow as we stand ready to build a world class support and delivery system for our campus clients.
Protecting our campus is something every single person on campus needs to own. In today’s world of worms, viruses and hackers we have to be ever prudent regarding protection of our campus IT environment. From actively changing passwords to proper audit controls, we all need to take seriously and own the fact, that we must protect and secure our data, network, and systems.
Thanks to all the women and men of DoIT for their hard work and support as we focus on these areas and beyond."
