Summer School in Ireland Program

The Program

Eligibility: U.S. citizens currently enrolled in good standing at an undergraduate institution are eligible to attend the program.

Fees: The $4500 fee includes two 3-credit college courses, lodging and breakfast on campus at Trinity, excursions within Dublin, a weekend study tour within Ireland, and a day trip to Wicklow. Upon acceptance, a $200 non-refundable deposit must be received. The balance of fees is due by March 17, 2008. Applications proceed according to a rolling acceptance; all applicants will be notified in writing upon acceptance of their application and accompanying materials.

Dates: June 11 - July 5, 2008

Locations: Located on a forty-acre campus in the center of Dublin and founded in 1592, Trinity College is recognized as one of the world's great universities. It has been host to such talents as Berkeley, Swift and Beckett. With a population of 1.3 million, Dublin is the Republic's capital city and, by far, the largest. The River Liffey divides the city into north and south sections. Its Georgian architecture and literary history are as vibrant as the crowds of young people walking the city center's streets. You'll find the best shopping on Grafton Street, just off of Trinity's campus.
