Dr. Harper and Fr. Bucko - Recently Published Articles

Charles Harper and Ray Bucko, S.J. recently published articles in a new volume out of  Creighton University Press: Religion and the Family, edited by Ronald Simkins and Gail Risch.   Dr. Harper’s article is entitled: “Religion and Family in America: A Socio-Historical Reconnaissance”.  Fr. Bucko wrote: “Sacred Kinship: Creating and Extending Family among the Lakota of Pine Ridge”.

Phillip Hennessey Gets Summer internship

Phillip Hennessey has been selected for a summer internship with the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center. During this time, he will conduct existing formal and informal talks, illustrated programs, demonstrations and roving contacts with groups of visitors, presenting thematically-relevant interpretive programs on aspects of the Lewis & Clark Expedition and the National Park Service, its current issues and park units. He will explain the significance of the Green rating of the facilities, its gardens and the function of the NPS in Omaha and the Midwestern United States. Present education programs to school age audiences both on- and offsite. Congratulations Phillip!
