Creighton Biology Majors

 

This page describes the program for students intending to major in Biology at Creighton.

28 hours of required support (Chemistry - 16, Physical Science - 8, Mathematics - 41)

 

 

Biology Courses

A minimum of 25 semester hours beyond 200-level consisting of at least 7 courses.  At least four courses must be selected from the 300- and 400-level series and at least two courses must be selected from the 500-level series.  A minimum of four courses must have a laboratory.  Biology 493, 495, and 497 do not qualify for major use.  The courses listed below meet the general theme of the required areas according to the State Department of Education standards. Other alternatives are available and may be selected under the advisement of the Biology Department.
