Do you feel called to inspire children to learn?  Are you interested in teaching kindergarten or grades 1 - 6 in a public school, or K-8 in a parochial school?  The Elementary Education Program will provide you with the valuable academic knowledge and practical skills that you will need to be a classroom teacher.  Our sequence of courses and field experiences provide the opportunities to practice the knowledge, skills, and dispositions of effective teachers.

Whether you are seeking your degree in Elementary Education, or already have a degree in another area and want to become endorsed to teach elementary children, Creighton University can provide you an excellent foundation (Magis) with personal attention (Cura personalis) and expert professional guidance in small classes, with a  broad range of experiences in public and parochial schools.
