Workshops
A series of interactive workshops, open to all attendees, will be offered on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday mornings. The workshops follow three main themes or tracks: (1) Beginning SoTL; (2) Advanced SoTL; and (3) Administrative SoTL Issues. You are invited to complete one, single track or to select workshops from among the track options.
Track One:
Beginning SoTL is designed for the SoTL newcomer and promises to answer basic questions about beginning and completing the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning process. Track Two:
Advanced SoTL is designed for those ready to begin their SoTL journey; SoTL scholars will illustrate the richness of the SoTL processes through their own work. Track Three:
Administrative SoTL Issues recognize some of the unique challenges present with advancing SoTL research among faculty and across institutions. Administrators, researchers, and educational experts will openly discuss these issues as the group collectively works on developing campus-appropriate responses.
