Career Fair Tips
The Creighton Career Center conducts two career fairs on campus every year (October and February) and also presents online career fairs, such as the National Jesuit Collegiate eFair and the Nebraska Statewide Collegiate eFair. As a part of the Jesuit Career Consortium, you may also attend career fairs at other Jesuit colleges and universities.
Career Fairs are the easiest way for you to meet face-to-face with employers. Recruiters use this time to highlight their organizations, advertise available internships, volunteer and full-time positions, and most importantly, talk to potential candidates. It is important to prepare in advance for a career fair by having a professional resume to hand out that highlights your skills and developing an introduction to the recruiter that expresses your interest in the organization's positions.
