Sandy Ciriaco is the Assistant Director for the Career and Academic Planning (CAP) Program, which assists students with self-awareness, career exploration, academic advising, and internship and job search techniques and skills. Sandy also assists with the Ratio Studiorum Program at the 200 level and serves as a Pre-Major Advisor, guiding students through stages of discernment as they make academic, career, and lifestyle choices.
Sandy has been with Creighton University since 2000. Her background in education, having graduated with a B.S. from Springfield College, MA, includes teaching physical education and coaching several athletic teams. She also has experience in business management. Sandy was initially employed at the Creighton University School of Law in the administrative areas of Academic, Alumni, and Student Services. During that time, she completed her M.S. in Counseling and Student Development Services at Creighton, graduating in May 2004. She has been with the CAP Program since August 2004.
