As a Career and Academic Advisor in the Career and Academic Planning (CAP) Program, Linda Dunn works with students to explore their options for majors and careers. Using self-assessment tools and academic planning, Linda’s advising is geared toward helping students find the right path for them. Linda also serves as a Pre-Major Advisor for the Ratio Studiorum Program at the 200 level. As a PMA, the primary focus area of advising that Linda provides is for students interested in pursuing health professions, especially medicine and dentistry.
Linda has been at Creighton since 1996 and has been an Academic Advisor for the past nine years in the College of Arts and Sciences. She joined the CAP Program in December of 2007 and is eagerly adding career development experience to her skills. Coming from a liberal arts background, Linda has been in the Navy, worked in education in public schools, and has experience in banking as well. Her B.A. degree is in English, earned at Bellevue University and her M.A. in Liberal Studies is a program she enjoyed greatly right here at Creighton University.
