Cortina 2004-2005 Fall Retreat

The Cortina Community is a communal, co-ed, service-learning program for selected sophomore students based on four distinct values:  Community.  Service.  Faith.  Justice.  The 28 women and 28 men living on the 5th floor of McGloin Hall will engage in weekly service, community-based learning courses, and reflection in a communal setting.

The Cortina Community is named after the Rev. Jon Cortina, S.J.  His love of God and people encourages students to integrate community, service, faith, and justice into life choices and commitments.  His example calls all of us to live authentic lives of faith, and be women and men for and with others.
