The purpose of the vInstitutes Program is to build a community of staff and faculty who increase their understanding of vocation-as-calling and directly incorporate this understanding in their daily service to Creighton University. By "vocation" (L. vocare, v.= to call or summon) we mean the lived response of a human being to serve others as a manifestation of one's faith and relationship with God. By "vocation-as-calling" we focus on distinct aspects: the response of an individual in relationship with God, the response of an individual in relationship with one's community, and the tensive relationship between individual fulfillment and personal sacrifice for the good of the community.
Submission Deadline: Submit 1 original and 5 copies of entire application packet to Dr. Kristina DeNeve, director of Cardoner, on or before Friday, December 1, 2006. Applicants will be notified on or before December 15 via email to their Creighton email account.
