In the summer of 2006, Lilly Endowment Inc. awarded Creighton University a $386,898 grant for sustaining the Theological Exploration of vocation. This grant will provide Creighton with half of it's budget needs for the next 3 academic years for the programs initiated by Cardoner in 2003. Creighton has agreed to match this grant with an equivalent $386,898 for these programs. After 2010-2011 Creighton will continue these programs based on their success and viability within the University community.
