Accounting is the language of business, and the accounting profession is one the oldest. It has been the source of thriving career opportunities for centuries.
Finance
Using data provided by all divisions of a company, the financial analyst prepares information for the top executives of a firm to use in making appropriate decisions.
Economics
Economists find opportunities in banking, investments, insurance, real estate, securities and other firms in the financial industry as well as opportunities in sales, administration and management.
Marketing
Marketing encompasses all the activities that take place from the time an organization begins to develop its strategy and the product or service is conceived until the product or service is purchased by a customer.
Management
Students majoring in management can choose from any of five tracks: Business Ethics, Entrepreneurial Management, Human Resource Management, Military Management (ROTC students only), 4-year Pre-law track.
MIS
Increased computer usage in business has caused an explosion in job opportunities for graduates with strong skills in quantitative analysis and computer usage.
International Business
Every element of today’s business world needs to be seen in an international context. Whether in manufacturing, retailing, investments, banking, or other financial services, competition takes place in a global environment.
