Spirit at Work: Creighton Alumni National Day of Service
More than 100 Alumni from the Omaha area gathered on Saturday, April 12, at St. Bernard School to help paint, clean, and despite the chilly temperatures, do some yard work outside.
For those alumni who could not participate, they were able to drop off non-perishable food items for the Omaha Food Bank from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at three different Culver’s Butterburgers and Frozen Custard locations.
The day was a success and Creighton's spirit was evident as the Omaha Food Bank indicated they received a combined 87 pounds of non-perishable items from the effort. This compares to 200 pounds that is typically generated at these locations during a four-to-six week period.
