School of Pharmacy & Health Professions 2006 Reunion Weekend Highlights
School of Pharmacy and Health Professions alumni returned to the Creighton campus the weekend of October 5, 6 and 7 for Reunion Weekend 2006 activities. Included in the weekend activities were reunion celebrations for the Classes of 1956, 1966, 1971, 1981, 1996 Occupational Therapy, 1996 Pharmacy and 1996 Physical Therapy.
The Reunion Weekend 2006 kicked off Thursday, October 5 with the Pharmacy Continuing Education program. On Friday, Fr. John P. Schlegel, S.J., Creighton University President honored the Class of 1956 at a luncheon where they received a Golden Jays citation. Later that evening, the Alumni Reception and Dinner was held at the V.J. and Angela Skutt Student Center at the Mutual of Omaha Ballroom and Dr. J. Chris Bradberry, PharmD, Dean of the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions, welcomed reunion attendees back for a spirited event. David H. Pedersen, BS PHA'54, received the 2006 Alumni Merit Award.
An all alumni tailgate and soccer game was held on Saturday morning before the Lady Jays soccer match at Michael G. Morrison, S.J. Stadium. Later that evening, individual class reunion gatherings were held at different locations throughout Omaha.
