2007 Reunion Weekend Highlights
School of Law alumni returned home to the Creighton campus the weekend of Sept. 7 and 8 for Destination Creighton: Reunion Weekend 2007 activities. Included in the weekend activities were reunion celebrations for the Classes of 1957, 1962, 1967, 1972, 1977, 1982, 1987, 1997 and 2002.
The Reunion Weekend 2007 kicked off Friday, Sept. 7, with members of the Class of 1957 being honored as this year’s Golden Jays. Receptions were held for the other celebrating reunion classes at the Hilton Omaha. Interim Dean Marianne Culhane welcomed alumni and friends back to Omaha. This year’s Reunion Giving Classes (1997, 1987 and 1982) gave a total of $54,655 in unrestricted gifts to the School of Law.
On Saturday, the Alumni Golf Outing was held at the Bent Tree Golf Club in Council Bluffs. Alumni were impressed with the newly renovated St. John Church where Mass was held at 5 p.m. Evening festivities included the Getting Blue BBQ which was a great tail gate party before the Bluejays took on the UCLA Bruins, a game that resulted in a tie score.

2006 Reunion Weekend Highlights
School of Law alumni returned to the Creighton campus the weekend of September 29 and 30 for Alumni Weekend 2006 activities. Included in the weekend were reunion celebrations for the Classes of 1951, 1956, 1961, 1966, 1971, 1976, 1981, 1986, 1991, 1996 and 2001. Alumni activities included the School of Law Annual Dinner and Class Reunion Receptions.
The Alumni Weekend 2006 kicked off Friday, September 29 with the Law School Annual Dinner and Dance where the crowd was welcomed by the Rev. John P. Schlegel, S.J., Creighton University President, and Pat Borchers, Dean of the School of Law. Brig. Gen. David G. Ehrhart, JD'81, received the 2006 Alumni Merit Award at the dinner and Richard E. Shugrue, Ph.D., was honored for 40 years of service to the Creighton community.
On Saturday evening, Class Reunion Cocktail Receptions were held for individual class reunion gatherings at the Hilton Omaha.
