2007 Reunion Weekend Highlights
School of Dentistry alumni returned to the Creighton campus April 20th and 21st for Reunion Weekend 2007 activities planned in conjunction with the Spring Dental Assembly. Activities included reunion celebrations for the Classes of 1957, 1962, 1967, 1972, 1977, 1982, 1987 and 1997.
The Reunion Weekend 2007 kicked off on Friday, April 20 with the Alumni Reception and Dinner at the Qwest Convention Center. Fr. John P. Schlegel, S.J., Creighton University President, Dr. Cam Enarson, Vice President for Health and Sciences and Dean of the School of Medicine, and Dr. Steven Friedrichsen, Dean of the School of Dentistry, welcomed reunion attendees back for a spirited event. During the evening, Vincent W. Mancuso, Jr., DDS'71, received the 2007 Alumni Merit Award. Members of the Class of 1957 and the Class of 1982 were honored, as well, as this year's Golden and Silver Jays, respectively.
The Creighton Alumni-Student Faculty golf outing, held at Iron Horse Golf Course, began Saturday morning with an 11:00 a.m. shot-gun start. Later that evening, individual class reunion gatherings were held at locations throughout Omaha.
