Osher Reentry Scholarship
Osher Reentry Scholarships are awarded to a limited number of undergraduate students who demonstrate the promise of achieving academic success. The annual award is applied equally to the Fall and Spring semesters. The Osher Reentry Scholarship assists with the cost of tuition only. Successful applicants will receive up to 50% off billable tuition after all other tuition assistance/employer assistance/ discounts/grants/outside scholarships have been applied. You must complete the application annually, by December 1.
To qualify, you must:
- Be between the ages of 25 and 50 and pursuing your first degree.
- Have a five year cumulative (not consecutive) interruption from college/high school graduation.
- Demonstrate the potential to succeed in your course of study.
- Maintain a minimum 3.0 QPA each semester.
- Have financial need as determined by the FAFSA form.
- Be enrolled a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester.
- Be fully admitted as a degree-seeking student.
University College Dean's Merit Award
The University College Dean's Merit Award (tuition assistance) is awarded to students with financial need, academic potential, work-related experience and a desire to develop new career skills. Awards vary from $100-$700 per semester and are renewable. Funding is limited, therefore, there is no guarantee that all applicants will receive aid. You must complete the application each semester for aid consideration.
To qualify, you must:
- Be accepted as a degree or certificate-seeking student in University College.
- Be currently enrolled in courses totaling a minimum of three semester hours.
- Demonstrate financial need based on the information provided on the application.
- Have a minimum 2.50 GPA.
- Be a US citizen or permanent resident.
Application Deadlines:
- December 1 for Spring Semester
- May 1 for Summer Semester
- August 1 for Fall Semester
