Mathematics (30 credits)

A Certificate in Mathematics will be awarded to students who successfully complete the following requirements (30 semester hours):

MTH245: Calculus I (4)
MTH246: Calculus II (4)
MTH347: Calculus III (4)

Eighteen semester hours selected as follows:

Six semester hours from the following courses:
MTH529: Linear Algebra (3)
MTH581: Modern Algebra I (3)
MTH582: Modern Algebra  II (3)

Six semester hours from the following courses:
MTH545: Differential Equations (3)
MTH571: Linear Programming (3)
MTH591: Analysis I (3)
MTH592: Analysis II (3)

Six semester hours from the following courses:
MTH561: Mathematical Statistics I (3)
MTH562: Mathematical Statistics II (3)
MTH563: Mathematical Statistics III (3)
