Controller's Office
The Controller’s Office is committed to providing accurate financial information in a cost effective, efficient and timely manner to those responsible for managing the financial resources of the University and to external constituencies.
We are responsible for preparing the University’s annual financial reports. The preparation of these reports requires current knowledge of financial accounting standards as well as state and federal regulations. The department works closely with professional accountants and auditors from the various firms that audit the University (Deloitte & Touche, federal auditors, etc.) to provide the information necessary to achieve a successful audit.
We are located in the Linn Building at 20th & Cass, just east of the 20th Street parking garage.

Mid-Year Increase to Mileage Reimbursement Rate
As a result of rising fuel costs, the IRS has increased the mileage reimbursement rate for business travel beginning July 1, 2008. The new mileage rate for the rest of the calendar year will be 58.5 cents per mile.
